As an Application Development Associate at Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd and an active IEEE volunteer, I have had the opportunity to hold leadership positions at various levels, including section, council, and global. My passion for technology and education led me to initiate numerous projects and events that provide hands-on experience to hundreds of students in different technologies.
IEEE Student Branch, Government Engineering College, Barton Hill, Thiruvananthapuram has made exceptional contributions to the community and has continuously strived to uphold the values of IEEE at every turn ever since its genesis in the year 2006. The Student Branch has exhibited outstanding dedication in conducting events, especially in a year lulled by the lethargy of a global pandemic.
Virendra Pratap Singh Rathore, currently employed as a software engineer at Optum, is an active IEEE volunteer. He received the Larry K. Wilson Regional Student Activities Award 2021 for his contributions as a student volunteer.
